Before we start with the proper daily 7-step skincare routine, you'll need to know your skin type. How you care for your skin is utterly dependent on the type of skin you have: oily, normal/combination, dry, sensitive or sun- damaged.
Skin Cleansing: Simple is key here. You need to find a good cleanser that your skin responds well to, and stick with it.
Exfoliation: Involves the removal of the oldest dead skin cells on the skin's outermost surface, and has been used for many years to help maintain. This step most people skip in their weekly skincare routine. But trust me, if you start properly exfoliating your skin, you will notice an almost immediate difference.
Extraction: Sterile instruments are used to extract the material from within pimples and blackheads. Once the material is removed, the opening is flushed to discourage the re-accumulation of bacteria and pus.
Mask: Facial masks can deep down clean your face, tighten your pores, or brighten and exfoliate your face. Masks are not a "one size fits all" product. Your skin type will determine which Mask is best suited for your skintype.
EyeCream: The skin around the eye contains no fatty tissue and is therefore very thin and susceptible to wrinkles.
Serum: If you have a problem with your skin that you'd like to improve, such as dark spots or early aging signs, a serum can help. Also, if your skin is very oily, a serum can give you enough hydration. Serums deposit nutrients in your skin.
Moisturize: A basic law of beauty is that everyone, no matter her skin type, should moisturize. Even if your skin is oily, it will benefit from moisturizers.
SunScreen: The number-1 cause of wrinkles is sun damage, so it's important to use sunscreen from your early years on even in winter and on cloudy days.
